Supervision Fees

We aim to offer a professional, supportive, and high-quality supervisory relationship that supports both your clinical work and ongoing development.

Qualified Counsellors
£60 per 60-minute session
£75 per 90-minute session

Trainee Counsellors
£35 per 45-minute session
£40 per 60-minute session
£50 per 90-minute session

Supervision is tailored to your individual needs, with flexibility around session length and frequency to meet both your practice requirements and professional standards.

Payment is required prior to your appointment and can be made via bank transfer or invoice.
About Your Supervisor
Supervision is provided by Alison Cunningham, an experienced counsellor, supervisor, and tutor with a strong background in both clinical practice and counsellor training.

Alison is the founder of Inner Journey Counselling and Aspire Counselling Academy, where she supports the development of trainee counsellors as they progress through their training and into professional practice.

She is accredited with the BACP and NCPS and holds a Level 7 qualification in Counselling and Supervision, ensuring supervision is delivered to a high professional and ethical standard.

With experience working with both qualified practitioners and trainees, Alison offers supervision that is grounded, supportive, and professionally focused.

Yes, supervision can be arranged on a regular or ad hoc basis, depending on your needs and circumstances.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible.

Yes, supervision is confidential and conducted in line with professional and ethical guidelines.

However, as part of ethical practice, there may be a need to discuss risk or safeguarding concerns appropriately. This will always be handled sensitively and professionally.


If you need brief support between sessions, you are welcome to make contact and we will respond as soon as possible.

Where more in-depth discussion is required, an additional supervision session can be arranged.

This ensures that your work is supported appropriately while maintaining clear professional boundaries.



There are no additional costs for occasional reports where these are required as part of your training or professional requirements.

If we have agreed to work together, this is recognised as part of the supervisory relationship.

Where more substantial or frequent reports are needed, this can be discussed and agreed in advance.
